Lenetta Shull for Montezuma County Clerk

Hello friends and neighbors,

For those of you who may not know me yet, my name is Lenetta Shull, and I am running for Clerk & Recorder of Montezuma County.

My husband and I have been married for 45 years, and we raised our four children right here in this community. Montezuma County isn’t just where I live — it’s home. It’s where we built our life, our businesses, and our friendships.

Over the past 35+ years, I’ve had the privilege of serving our community in many roles — from school board treasurer and 4-H leader to small business owner and volunteer on local boards. I’ve worked in medical administration and compliance, where accuracy, organization, and attention to detail are essential every single day.

The Clerk & Recorder’s office serves every resident in one way or another — whether through elections, motor vehicle services, recording property documents, or safeguarding vital records. I believe this office should be professional, transparent, organized, and welcoming to all.

I’m running because I care deeply about this county and the people who call it home. I believe in steady leadership, respectful service, and doing the work carefully and correctly.
